
BEGINNING MAT PILATES PROGRAM
The SweatShop is the Midwest’s Licensed Training Center for STOTT PILATES®, a contemporary approach to the original teaching of Joseph Pilates. STOTT PILATES® is the optimal way to achieve strength, flexibility, and proper body alignment. The central concept of STOTT PILATES® is strengthening the core of the body – deep abdominals, lower back, and muscles around the spine. In addition to building core strength, Pilates focuses on the individual’s postural needs and spinal alignment.
Our 4-week Beginning Mat Pilates Program, taught by our fully trained and certified Pilates instructors, includes 8 instructional sessions and 2 bonus Pilates Mat passes to use at your leisure to put into practice what you have learned. Upon completion, participants will know the integral STOTT PILATES® five basic principles and be familiar with the Essential Matwork repertoire which is the foundation for Pilates practice.

•Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00pm: January 9, February 6
Cost is $175 for non-members; FREE to Pilates GT members; 20% discount for Basics and Power GT members.
