
...join the SweatShop Run/Walk Group which "runs" July 29-September 9 in preparation for the Get Ready to Rock 5k or 10k races on September 11.
Never raced before? No problem, no experience is needed. Finish a 5k in 6 weeks of training. Whether you walk or run, we can get you to the finish line by race day.
You’ve done a 5k already? Train to improve your race time. It’s hard to do speed workouts on your own. Group camaraderie makes them fun!
Want to go farther? Complete a 10k. If you have recently run a 5k, you could be ready for a 10k by race day.
With the training group, participants will receive:
*Personalized training plans
*Two weekly group sessions and homework for your training program
*A great community of support!
Weekly sessions will include:
*Run or walk workout from the SweatShop or out in the area parks – There’s no pressure and you can go at your own pace with others of similar speed.
*Certified Personal Trainer as your coach
*Coaching on warming up, stretching, clothing, and footwear, effort and heart rate, injury prevention, and much more!
FREE Info Sessions: Thursday, July 22 at 5:30pm or Saturday, July 24 at 9am.
Regular session meetings:
Thursdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 9am.
First meeting is Thursday, July 29 (No group on Saturday, 9/4)

$99 for members ; $125 for non-members.
