TRX Suspension Training

Shorter workouts in general are catapulting even the most hardened couch potatoes to a new level of goal achievements. From athletic performance to Zoomer goals to stave off mid-age slumps and bumps, SweatShoppers have found that bite size chunks of training in 25 minutes of TRX (suspension strength training); Kettlebell (the original core training); Cardio Tramp (cardio and strength training on reformers using vertical mini trampolines); and much more, makes high-level fitness reachable.

  • SBT BASICS: TRX, Kettlebell, and Cardio Tramp are the main components in our Short Burst Training (SBT) workouts. In this 45-minute session, learn the basics of safety, form, and technique for each. Upon completion, you'll be prepared to take TRX 25, KB 25, CT 25 workouts and you'll get the low down on Power Bar 25 and PowerBall 25.   • TRX PRIVATE AND SEMI PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS with select TRX-trained trainers. This method is perfect for individualized attention and learning modifications if you have an injury. Personal training packages and pricing..
TRX Group Training: Keep Going

Once you have taken SBT Basics or a private session, you may choose from scheduled TRX group trainings.

  • TRX 25: A time-efficient action-packed 25-minute workout that moves fast through upper body, lower body, and core exercises. TRX 25 is perfect in combination with KB 25, CT 25, or other SBT group workouts; your own cardio workout; or on alternate days with Pilates.
Kettlebell: Simple – Powerful – Portable

Increase strength, endurance, agility and balance while challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic movements. Kettlebells are safe and effective with proper technique and regular use. Most women start with 8–12 kilos and men start with 12–16 kilos and progress up quickly. KB25 is part of the SBT menu and requires that all participants have completed: 1) Beginner program at SweatShop or elsewhere OR 2) SBT Basics at SweatShop OR 3) Private session with a SweatShop Kettlebell Trainer.

  • Kettlebell Private or Semi-Private sessions: available with select Kettlebell trainers. These sessions will prepare you for any KB workout, improve technique, find modifications, and help prevent injury. Personal training pricing applies.
